Battle of Songs is back!

The song contest “Battle of Songs” is back this year, too! The statement (message) is an easy one: “Do you know to write music? Send us a hit!” Star Management has prepared substantial prizes for this year’s winners.

On July 1st the registration for Battle of Songs 2009 has started. For 3 months, everyone interested in promoting their compositions is invited on www.battleofsongs.com where the whole registration process will take place online.

Already at its 3rd edition, this year’s contest will give 2 money prizes: “Grand Prize Battle of Songs” amounting 4000 Euros and “Battle of Songs – people’s choice” amounting 1000 Euro.

“Battle of Songs” represents an opportunity for all composers/lyricists/arrangeurs worldwide who want their songs to catch the attention of influent people who belong to the music industry. The contest enables them the path to recognition and offers a real promotion.

The jury will gather: Andreea Berghea (Kiss Fm), Tiberiu Crisan (Bestmusic.ro), Catalin Muraru (Roton), Bogdan Pavlica (Radio Romania Actualitati), Dan Popi (Media Services/EMI Music), Nono Semen (ProFm), George Zafiu (Europa Fm) and Zoli Toth ( Battle of Songs’ initiator, member of Sistem, Star Management )

The contest’s stages are:

July 1st – October 1st – songs and contestants’ registration
October 2nd – October 11th – jury’s selection of the 30 songs that will be proposed to the public for voting
October 12th – November 1st – sms voting, from the 30 songs, there will be 12 songs remaining
November 2nd – November 24th – the public will choose by sms the winner of the Popularity Award.
November 27 – will be announced the winner of the Grand Prize Battle of Songs – granted by the jury

Last year’s edition had George Hora as a winner. He was rewarded with a prize of 10.000 euro. Today, George works with big names of the Romanian music industry, signing – together with Puya – the smash hit “Undeva in Balcani”

Battle of Songs 2009 is the musical creation contest which counts already its 3rd edition, opened for all composers/lyricists/arangeurs worldwide. “Battle of Songs” purpose is descovering and promoting new talents and quality music.

The winner song will receive the “Grand Prize Battle of Songs amounting to 4000 Euro and like last year the contest will give a “Battle of Songs – popularity award” amounting to 1000 Euro.

Battle of Songs brings your songs in the attention of one of the most important people in the music business – radio, record labels, music televisions, media, artists, music events producers etc. Battle of Songs can find a famous singer for your song, which will have more chancs of becoming a hit. Through Battle of Songs your song can be produced at a master quality, can be broadcasted on the radio or may appear on a compilation.
